NINETYFOUR
NINETYFOUR is a Dutch company born from a friendship, its owners Geronimo Tuhumena and Kin Ho Cheung got to know each other when they were both 4 years old boys. The name Ninety-Four comes from the year 1994, which is the year the two met and became friends, since then the two have felt like family. The brand is about different cultures and worlds, which is what inspires Ninetyfour. For instance, Moluccan culture is reflected in their clothes and they also focus a lot on this culture. The motto "Friends become Family" can be seen a lot in their clothes and feeling, Ninetyfour is a real friends brand and gives that warmth too.

The brand combines streetwear style with luxery clothing, they mainly focus on comfortable T-shirts, hoodies and sweatpants that often has an oversized fit. Ninetyfour describes their brand as "A mix of street, trend and classic influences, relaxed silhouettes but also a touch of youth culture".

Culture
The brand has a Moluccan background and also reprences this with pride, for example, they dropped a collection for the Moluccan Day on Kwaku in 2022. Kwaku originated as a Surinamese festival in the Bijlmer, Amsterdam. Yet over the years, Kwaku has developed into a multicultural festival and they had a Moluccan day in 2022. Ninetyfour grabbed this opportunity and together with the brand Soldat, dropped the collection called Satu Terbang, Semua Terbang. The collection includes T-shirts featuring Alifuru, Pattimura, fishermen's hats and Martha Christina Tiahahu.
